Mentoring

The first working day after the group’s arrival, the student’s are greeted by their M.E.P coordinator at a welcome meeting where the project’s programme is explained and all their questions about the project are answered and all information is checked. Student’s are accompanied before the start of their internship by a M.E.P member to their host company to learn the bus route and meet their tutor. After this, the students are able to contact their M.E.P coordinator during working hours or outside of working hours for emergencies.
There is also a weekly intermediate evaluation meeting with students and/ or accompanying tutors to evaluate the project’s progression and check that everything is in order and going smoothly. At the end of the project, there is also a final evaluation meeting where project participants can evaluate the project, give opinions and offer feedback.

Mentoring

At Eppas, we believe that mentoring is the key to a successful internship. That’s why we offer our interns a comprehensive support programme to help them find their way around Prague, develop professionally and get the most out of their experience. How it works:
Before you arrive: We get to know you through your CV and have a phone call. Then we’ll help you find your ideal internship in the field you’re interested in.
Upon Arrival: We’ll pick you up at the airport, help you get settled in and have an introductory meeting. On your first day on the job, we will accompany you and help you with the necessary paperwork.
During your internship: We are available to help you with any questions or problems. We meet with you regularly to check your progress and offer support. We also organise fun activities for you to meet other interns and get to know Prague.
After your internship: Together we will evaluate your experience, help you with your documentation and escort you to the airport.
