Mentoring

We take care of the participants from the pre-departure training activity until they return home. We provide training activities such as: on-arrival training, city tour, final evaluation. During their mobility our staff monitors participants with planned individual and/or group monitoring meetings. In everyday life, participants are followed and assisted through Virtual Mentoring (a WhatsApp channel dedicated only to participants and accompanying persons). Also it is possible to book individual monitoring and problem solving appointments and finally, a number is active 24/7 for emergencies.

VIRTUAL MENTORING – Whatsapp contact with the Hosting Coordinator:
– Available for requests, information, non-urgent situations;
– Used to process communication between Uniser tutors and participants/accompanying person;
– Used to send and requests information/documents (eg: sending monitoring questionnaires, requesting scan registers, medical certificates, etc.).

EMERGENCY NUMBER – Calls only: +39 051 408 6255
– To be used only for SERIOUS and URGENT matters;
– Active 24/7 from 7th January to 22nd December.

MONITORING QUESTIONNAIRES
INITIAL: after 1 week/10 days;
MID TERM: half of the mobility;
FINAL: before final evaluation meeting.

MONITORING MEETINGS
We visit our participants once a week to ensure everything is going well. We check that they are learning effectively at the host company and that there is a positive environment conducive to their personal and professional growth. We also ask for feedback on the overall mobility experience. We believe that Erasmus is a great opportunity and a significant boost for autonomy, not just for the internship, but for their daily experiences as well.

Our mentors speak:

Alejandro’s success story

Erasmus is a lifelong treasure. This experience isn’t just about studying or interning in another country; it’s about embracing change and growth. Moving from Spain to Italy for my internship at Flora, I gained independence, confidence, and invaluable personal development. This led to a job offer, which I accepted gladly because it was an opportunity to learn even more. At first, I was afraid to leave, but the biggest fear is not making the leap. Erasmus teaches that improvement is constant and the courage to start the journey is invaluable.
