Mentoring
Our mentoring process is comprehensive, consisting of consultation and regular “Jour Fix” meetings relative with the practice placements. We offer support to mobility participants by helping them navigate their career paths and secure successful internships. Our career consultation services include group guidance sessions where we assist participants in identifying their strengths and interests and making informed decisions about their career paths. We provide resources and advice on resume building, interview preparation, and networking strategies to enhance their professional development.
The “Jour Fix” meetings, held some times a month, involve tutors, participants and responsible staff from the hosting organisation. During these sessions, EELI employees stay in direct contact with participants and program teachers, providing support for any difficulties and assisting them in their workplace. The goals of these meetings include presenting the project’s organisation, resolving issues, discussing the working environment, working tasks, accommodation, and cultural programs.
In addition to mentoring, our evaluation process is very important to us as it helps improve both our business network and the organisation’s overall functioning. For mobility programs lasting more than one month, we conduct two evaluation meetings: a mid-term evaluation and a final evaluation meeting. For shorter mobility programs (less than a month), we hold one evaluation meeting at the end, with additional meetings if deemed necessary. Participants evaluate the program by filling in several questionnaires and the project manager compiles the conclusions to identify areas for improvement.
